Abundantia is ran by a social democracy and is controlled by an exemplary president with the guidance of two counselors who devote themselves entirely to the needs and freedom of the people. The president cannot abuse his power or he will be dismissed from his position and the first counselor will temporarily take position. Other government is assigned to a certain area of the island, he or she is to help, keep things in order and collect food taxes. Food taxes will be extra food that will be preserved and stored till an individual reaches a state of personal poverty and can not provide for themselves temporarily.
